
A respected and experienced journalist, Monika has hosted Today Tonight in Perth since 1997.
Presenter Monika Kos is a highly respected and experienced journalist. Monika has a reputation for being able to mix with anyone - from the Prime Minister to the average family and she is one of Perth's most popular media identities.In March 1989 Monika was employed by radio station 6PR in a number of specialist roles, including drive time presenter and newsreader.
Monika's move to television in 1990 saw her join the Seven Nightly News team's pool of journalists.
In 1997 Monika took up the position as host of Perth's only locally produced current affairs programme, Today Tonight.
This new career path has seen her become one of Perth's most highly respected journalists.
Career highlights include interviews with Prime Minister John Howard, former Opposition Leader Kim Beazley and One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson.

Monika is married to Grant Willesee (son of Terry) and has two sons, Angus Nickolas Willesee and Denham Egil Willesee, who was born in October 2003.
