
Rohan has been reporting on anything from politics to fast cars and continues to find the quirky angle of a story.
After obtaining an honours degree in Political Science from Melbourne University and a post-graduate diploma in Journalism, Rohan began his reporting career on Nine Queensland's local current affairs show Brisbane Extra.During this time he also tutored and lectured in journalism at the University of Queensland.
Rohan later moved to the Gold Coast to report for Nine's Gold Coast News, then moved back to Brisbane as a reporter for National Nine News.
During his time in Brisbane, Rohan was fortunate enough to report on the Commonwealth Games from Kuala Lumpur.
Rohan was also involved in federal election broadcasts, as well as filing reports on the 1998 Queensland state election, which saw the brief rise of One Nation.
Rohan then moved to Adelaide to report for Today Tonight in 1999.
A year later he moved to the ABC, where he hosted the national youth current affairs program Behind The News.
During his time on the show Rohan was able to travel to Fiji to report on the coup led by George Speight and interviewed the coup leader for his program.
In 2001 Rohan moved back to Seven Adelaide, where he was once again a reporter for Today Tonight.
He then moved to Seven Melbourne in December 2002, where he remains a reporter for Today Tonight.
Rohan married Herald Sun reporter Susie O'Brien in March 2002.
