
Rodney has reported on some of the biggest stories in the past few years.
He is originally a country boy from Gympie, Queensland and joined the Today Tonight team in 2001 after starting his career in newspapers in 1996 at the Rockhampton Morning Bulletin.
He worked as a news reporter for WIN Television in Rockhampton and Townsville, then cut his teeth in current affairs for the Brisbane-based Extra program.
While in Brisbane he also worked as a news reporter for National Nine News.
In 2001 Rodney made the move to Channel Seven to work for Today Tonight in Adelaide.
He moved to the Melbourne office in 2003 where he continues to work as a reporter.
