Frank Pangallo

Frank is a senior investigative reporter with more than 30 years' experience in the media.

In that time, he has held senior reporting and managerial positions in newspapers, magazines, radio and television.

Frank's career began as a copyboy at The News (Adelaide), Rupert Murdoch's first newspaper. Frank worked his way through the ranks to eventually become the paper's Editor in 1989.

Frank worked for the ABC's 7.30 Report before joining Network Ten as special features producer for Eyewitness News and the network's Sports Tonight program. He joined the Seven Network's Real Life current affairs program in 1994 as Supervising Producer, based in Sydney.

As a reporter he has covered many major news stories along with local, national and international sporting events both in Australia and overseas.

With the Seven network, Frank has been involved in the coverage of the Sydney 2000 Olympics, the Manchester Commonwealth Games in 2002 and the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Frank's investigative instinct has seen him expose a gallery of rogues, swindlers and conmen. On one assignment to Europe, he tracked down a notorious criminal on the run from Australian police who had been hiding out in a southern Italian town with a reputation as a Mafia stronghold.

He has been with Today Tonight in various roles since its inception in 1995. He returned to his old, familiar stomping ground of Adelaide, spending seven years as reporter with the program.

In 2002, Frank took up a position in Queensland as the program's state producer. He transferred to Sydney as TT's NSW producer in 2003 before deciding to once more return to Adelaide in 2005.
