The latest cosmetic procedure promising to turn back time uses your own blood to tighten and rejuvenate your skin.
It is claimed stars like Kylie, Madonna and Cher swear it keeps them forever young.
Nicole Bell would not be the first to claim to behold the Holy Grail of beauty.
She calls herself a cosmetic injector and what she injects into people's faces will have you literally spinning.
The procedure involves taking vials of blood and spinning them in a centrifuge.
"It is basically going to spin at a certain rotation at a certain rate and that will actually separate the red blood cells from the plasma," Nicole said.
It may sound more hellish than heavenly to inject remnants of your own blood into your face, but it is the gold-coloured liquid extract that is the key to Regen or Platelet Rich Plasma.
"Once you actually put it into your face it's stimulating all of your cells to actually start growing collagen and elastin," Nicole said.
Rejuvenating your face and neck can cost $1100 for one visit and results will determine future visits.
Dr Stephen Shumack from the Australasian College of Dermatologists said the procedure is nonsense.
"We know there is some evidence that this will work in some cases of immediate trauma like a burn, for instance, but there is no evidence out there that this will work in undamaged skin," he said.
"The cost of $1100 is going to be flushed down the toilet, you are buying a protein.
"Your own protein, which is in your blood, it's being purified to a certain extent and going to be injected into the skin, it is going to be absorbed in the blood stream and flushed out through the kidneys and into the toilet."
Both Nicole and her supervising doctor are fans of their own work and happily practice on each other.
"What we have experienced is seeing our own faces get younger by the day," Nicole claimed.
