Choosing a career is one of our biggest decisions a teenager can make, a forced choice which can affect the rest of our lives.
Even the rich and famous went through career crises: Madonna sold donuts, Brad Pitt moved fridges, Sean Connery actually polished coffins.
Billionaire businessman Donald Trump kicked off his career collecting rents.
But what if there was a crystal ball where you could peek in and find your dream job, the career that would make you happy and rich, financially or personally?
Well, one man says that tell-all crystal ball does exist and so does that perfect position. You just don't know it yet.
Paul Burgess has come up with what he calls the ID system: a system he promises will uncover the right career path for everyone.
In his new book, Natural Born Success, Paul says all it takes to expose your personality profile and your perfect vocation is a 30-minute psychometric test.
"Absolutely, it changes people's lives", Paul said. Big claims, so we put them to the test.
Three very different people with three very different dreams: Jack, the budding rock-n-roll wrestler, Kate wants to carry a gun and wear a blue uniform, Tony is 55 and at the crossroads.
This trio has agreed to take the ID test, to see if the careers they are considering are the right ones.
From Cairns, Queensland, weighing in at 77kg, is the TNTW champion Jack, AKA "Kid Vicious".
Much to his mother Lindy's concern, high school student Jack is convinced he can make a career as a professional wrestler.
High school graduate Kate is thinking about the police force, but is still weighing up where to go with her life.
According to Paul, a 55-year-old former business executive Tony Dicker is a very different worker altogether: Tony believes the local business world has not responded well to his age and now finds himself running a small resume business, when he feels he could be managing a much bigger operation.
Paul says Tony is everything a business could want. He, like many older workers, just doesn't know how to sell himself.
"Rather than saying to them 'I'm 55, or whatever age, and that's an issue', it's 'I’m 55, how fantastic is that, you know I'm bringing all this experience, I've still got youthful energy, I've still got another five or 10 years'," Paul explained.
Our aspiring police officer was next up.
"So, Kate, you have a very clear ID," Paul said.
"For you, there is really one strong drive and it sums up everything about you. You are a straight shooter, you tell it like it is, you have to be hands on."
The ID test showed Kate's focus was not far off the mark: if not a police officer, maybe a paramedic.
"You have an incredibly strong need to be useful and the place you can be most useful is when people are in danger, so rescuing people," Paul said.
For Jack, there was a surprise result: it looks like Jack was right and mum was wrong.
"It's pushed my self-esteem up a lot more than I was before and now I know where to head in life and what I'm expecting," Jack said.
Paul said many people who had already been told their personality ID said it had changed their lives.
"It's changed their relationship, it's connected them with their kids, it's got their health back on track," Paul said.
"It absolutely changes your life."
