What if you had the power to attract anything your heart desired? A book that has become a global phenomenon to millions claims you can.
If you have ever thought of somebody, only to have them suddenly ring out of the blue, you might consider it a coincidence.
But according to self-styled "law of attraction" expert Michael Losier, it might not be.
"It was so serendipidous, it was synchronicity, or fate, or karma," Mr Losier said.
"Every time we use those words, we"re talking about the law of attraction, so when you think of someone, the law of attraction picked up those vibes, law of attraction recieved it and matched it."
Three years ago, Danielle Ridley's life was not going to plan.
"I had some pretty interesting debts," she now admits.
Ms Ridley also wanted to be married and to have children. And that's when she discovered Mr Losier's book.
Three years on, life has changed dramatically.
"I've tripled my income," Ms Ridley said.
She is also married, with a baby on the way. How? Apparently by doing what she could to banish negativity from her life and focus on talking and being positive.
According to what Michael Losier calls the Law of Attraction, whatever you focus your attention on, is what you will attract.
"Law of attraction is a science and it doesn't have a conscience and it doesn't have a choice, it's obedient.
"If I give it attention, I will get more of it, whether negative or positive."
While there is no doubt we live in troubled times, Mr Losier argues the worst thing we can do is worry about things that might go wrong.
By giving negative outcomes our attention, he says we can actually bring them about.
"So when we say, 'I don't want this to be difficult', you just gave attention to difficult," he said.
"'I don't want this to hurt', 'don't forget', 'don't drink-drive', 'don't have sex', 'don't do drugs', 'don't slam the door', you see, everything I say not to do, I just gave it attention."
Instead, Mr Losier says we should try to focus on the good things that you want to attract into your life, and through those positive thoughts come positive vibes, which should turn into positive results.
"Some people use the word energy, some people use the word chemistry, some people use the word vibe," he said.
Recently, a group of positivity gurus made it onto the Oprah Winfrey Show and the world stage with their book and DVD 'The Secret'.
It is based on similar principles to Michael Losier's law of attraction, with one big difference: Mr Losier says just wishing for something isn't enough.
"Step number one and two says decide what you want and put it out, decide what you want and give it attention," he said.
"You see, if the only thing we have to do is decide what we want and put it out there, we'd have everything we want.
"But the third thing we have to do is to allow it, and the only way to allow the things that you desire is to remove the doubt you have about receiving it."
