Style genies Lyn Preston and Tanya Petrolo are out to prove that you don't need a celebrity salary to dress like one.

Working with children means Loretta D'Elia has almost forgotten how to dress up, so she has called in Lyn and Tanya to give her - and partner Peter - an image overhaul.

The style genies say start with colour, get it right and the rest follows.

And Lyn and Tayna say the best advice for anyone is to get someone who'll tell you the truth, who'll answer truthfully the question: "does my, whatever, look big in this?"

An overhaul does get very personal.

"We work with the clothes they've already got, so we're not about buying surplus clothes, we're about working with what's there and sometimes we can get up to 30 new look," the style genies said.

"And the thing is, when you look good, you feel good, it's as simple as that."
